Heleen found my name in one of the many indie author groups and decided to contact me for more information about the design and publishing of her first book. After I answered all her questions, it was clear that she entrusted her book to me. The book “Flighted Friends” was written in diary form and that is how I wanted to design it, in diary form.
She had the illustration for the cover made by a watercolor artist.
Overall, it is another exciting process for the author and me, but always with a great result!

Mireille has a lot of creativity, which she used after we discussed my wishes for the book. She really got me moving, by sometimes using a font that I didn’t want in my book. After I let it sit for a while and we spoke the next day, she explained her choice and I was immediately convinced.
For the cover, I had a unique watercolor made that would continue across the spine and Mireille turned it into a beautiful book cover, with my desired inner flaps. She is very knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with.
A beautiful book is now at a happy printer because everything was delivered so neatly by Mireille.
In short, my first book is already fantastic!
