In a world where you can be anything, be kind
It’s cold in the forest. White snow falls softly in the dark night between the trees on the cold ground. All the animals are sleeping, except for a little rabbit who is hiding under a tree, his teeth chattering.
She was so busy looking for food that she didn’t realize that the sun was already down and the moon had come out. Suddenly it was dark and in the dark she could no longer find her safe hole.
Suddenly she hears rustling. “W-w-who’s there?” she asks, her teeth chattering from the cold and a little bit because she is also scared. A huge shadow looms behind the tree. “I-I-I’m not afraid!” she shouts very convincingly. She narrows her eyes to get a better look at the figure.
A huge fluffy ball with eyes appears from behind the tree. “It’s just me,” says the bear in a friendly tone, “I heard your teeth chattering from the cold in the distance. I’d like to keep you warm tonight with my thick warm fur.”
The bunny looks surprised. She didn’t expect this at all. Relieved she hides deep in the warm fur. Soon her eyes close and she falls into a deep sleep, sheltered from the cold and snow. In a world where you can be anything, choose to be kind.
